Day 1: Arrival and 1 night in Reykjavík/Keflavík.

Day 2: Whale fjord, waterfalls, hot springs and history in West Iceland. 2 nights in Borgarfjörður/Snaefellsnes area, West Iceland.

Day 3: Snæfellsnes, called Iceland in a nutshell.

Day 4: Sites of West Iceland and Skagafjörður, valley of the horses and sagas. 2 nights in Eyjafjörður area, North Iceland.

Day 5: Akureyri, the capital of North Iceland, Eyjafjörður fjord district and Hrísey island.

Day 6: Goðafoss waterfall and Lake Mývatn. 2 nights at Lake Mývatn/Húsavík/Eyjafjörður area, North Iceland.

Day 7: Húsavík, the whale watching capital of Europe and Ásbyrgi National Park.

Day 8: Highland desert and the East Fjords. 2 nights in East Iceland.

Day 9: Explore the amazing mountains of Borgarfjörður Eystri or travel around Lake Lögurinn in East Iceland.

Day 10: Explore the Vatnajökull/Skaftafell National Park. 1 night in Skaftafell/Kirkjubæjarklaustur area.

Day 11: South Iceland with glaciers, lava beaches, bird cliffs and waterfalls. 1 night in Vík area.

Day 12: Thjórsárdalur valley with Hekla volcano, Stöng Viking ruins and Hjálparfoss and Háifoss waterfall. 1 night in Hella/Selfoss area.

Day 13: Golden Circle with Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir hot spring and Thingvellir National Park. 2 nights in Reykjavík/Keflavík.

Day 14: Leisure time for Reykjavík, Reykjanes peninsula and Blue Lagoon.

Day 15: Departure.

Important Notes

Car pick up and return can be at Reykjavik/Keflavik airport or at any place/accommodation in Reykjavik.

Accommodation: The availability of accommodation in Iceland is very limited. We therefore can't tell you at the time of booking in which hotel/guesthouse or farm exactly you are going to stay.

IMPORTANT: Due to the limited availability of accommodation in Iceland at this time of year for the months June, July and August, we can not confirm the feasibility of Fly & Drive trips the moment we receive the first payment of 40% as a deposit. Arctic Yeti ehf reserves the right to cancel the offer corresponding to your trip during the 7 days after having received the payment in case we do not find availability of the offered services (accommodation, car rental, excursions, etc.). In case of cancellation of the offer for the reasons indicated above, the client will be offered other travel alternatives or, in case of withdrawal on his part, will be refunded 100% of the amount paid as a deposit.

Itinerary: The above described program is just an example to give you an idea on what's possible during the days you have at your disposal. Apart from the accommodation you are or course free to adapt the itinerary to your wishes. We are happy to help you with any questions you might have.

Third party liability is equivalent to the amount stipulated by Icelandic law at each time. This also applies to the amount of individual driver liability. Third party coverage and personal accident insurance is included in your rental.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) CDW self risk is 200.000 ISK (approx. 1.650€) for small/medium vehicles and 350.000 ISK (approx. 2.860 €) for 4x4 / larger vehicles. Third party liability insurance shall be equivalent to the amount stipulated by Icelandic law at the time. The lessee is fully responsible for any and all damage to the car. Normally by purchasing CDW the lessee can insure himself against the disbursement of the driver liability.	Included
Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) - Optional SCDW will lower the lessee self risk to 35.000 ISK (approx. 236€) for small/medium vehices and to 65.000 ISK (approx. 440€) The lessee is always responsible for the following damages, which are not covered by CDW or SCDW insurance: e.g. negligence, driving while intoxicated, damage to tires, headlights, wind-screen and the underside of the car, damage caused by loose rocks which get thrown at the car on gravel roads, damages to the engine of the car caused by water getting into the motor. Gravel Protection (GP)/ Sand and Ash Damage Waiver (SADW) - Optional GP covers damage to windscreen, headlights, paintwork and other parts of the car, damaged by gravel that gets thrown at the vehicle by passing cars or oncoming traffic. The new insurance SADW covers against damage due to ash or sandstorm. The damage to paint, windows, lights and plastic parts can be very expensive to the lessee, up to 1.500.000 ISK (approx. 9.650€).	14,90€

Mammut Travel EHF (ID number 681111-2040) is a tour operator and travel agency based in Iceland, authorized by the Icelandic Tourist Board.

It offers its products through the web www.mammuticeland.com, this includes package trips, excursions and links to other web sites providing tourist services.

Using this website and its services, purchasing a product or sending an inquiry implies the acceptance of our terms & conditions.

Bookings have to be directed to info@mammuticeland.com. After a booking is confirmed travellers will receive all necessary travel information by email including tickets, vouchers or any other travel documents for the trip or excursion in question.

The traveller is responsible for checking the received documents and confirming that all information is correct. Errors in the documents have to be reported back to us as soon as possible. In case changes have to be made at a later point Mammut Travel reserves itself the right to charge a discretionary service fee.

PAYMENTS

A deposit is necessary to confirm a reservation. Upon reservation we will inform you about the exact amount and payment details. Failure to meet payment deadlines will lead to the cancellation of the purchased service and cancellation conditions apply.

For escorted tours, a 40% deposit of the total price is required to confirm a booking. The remaining 60% are due two to one months before trip start, depending on the type of the trip. Contact us for detailed information.

Product prices on the website are based on the current price situation in Iceland. Mammut Travel reserves itself the right to change prices due to unforeseen considerable cost increases or fluctuations in currency exchange rates. After a booking has been confirmed a price increase will never exceed 6% of the total trip price, though. The costumer has in this case the right to cancel the reservation without cancellation fees.

CANCELLATION

All cancellations must be made in written form by email to info@mammuticeland.com or to the direct email of your personal contact at Mammut Travel. Notice that our office is open from Monday to Friday from 10 to 17 h, Icelandic time (GMT). A cancellation is confirmed as soon as Mammut Travel replies to the cancellation (within the just mentioned working hours) informing the traveller about the cancellation charges. Cancellation conditions are as follows:

more than 60 days before the trip start: no charges
between 59 and 30 days before the trip start: 50% of the total price
between 29 and 15 days before the trip start: 25% of the total price
less than 14 days before the start date: 100% of the total price

Notice that for some trips different conditions apply. In in this case we will inform the traveller before confirming the trip.

A non-refundable 80 € per person will be charged to all the bookings.

When cancelling a trip, it must be taken into account that there are certain expenses of the agency for payments to suppliers that in most cases may be non-refundable, such as payments for certain accommodations, excursions or airline tickets already issued.

Notice that for some trips different conditions apply. In in this case we will inform the traveller before confirming the trip.

INSURANCE

Mammut Travel recommends to purchase a travel insurance before travelling. Note that no insurance is included in our trip packages. Will be happy to assist you if you have questions.

PASSPORT AND PERSONAL DOCUMENTS

It is the traveller's own responsibility to have all required legal documents for entering Iceland or Greenland. For some countries special visa regulations apply. Please check the regulations for your country before contracting a trip with us. You will find information on Icelandic regulations on: http://www.utl.is/

It had the luck to be born sure footed, in his back the combined expertise of a group of people with long years of experience in tourism in Iceland, Greenland and other parts of Scandinavia.

We who are working for Mammut Travel have different backgrounds and come from different countries but have all at some point fallen in love with the rough beauty of the North, a love that not only holds ourselves captive but makes us want to show this beauty to the world – to you!
